Printed with a white border — 8 mm at the sides and head and 12 mm at the foot on A2, a little deeper below so a hung print does not look like it is sliding down its frame. Taken from the same figures the printer uses, so this sentence cannot drift from the sheet. Sold unframed, and both sizes are standard A, so a frame you already own will fit.

Hang it on its centre, not its top edge: 145 cm from the floor to the middle of the picture. It is what galleries measure to, and it is why a wall of different sizes can still look deliberate.

A3 fits

a 40 × 50 cm frame with a mount, or 297 × 420 mm exactly without one

A2 fits

a 50 × 70 cm frame with a mount, or 420 × 594 mm exactly without one

A mount is a choice rather than a necessity here — the sheet is printed with its own white border, so it already has room to breathe inside a frame and can be handled without touching the ink.

Leave it flat under a clean weight for a day or two after it arrives, and keep it out of direct sun. Pigment on cotton rag lasts generations indoors; nothing survives a south-facing window.
