Terms

These terms cover buying prints from Exoplate and selling your work through us. Buying anything here means agreeing to them.

Who we are

Exoplate is a trading name of [Registered name to be confirmed], company number [Company number to be confirmed], registered at [Registered address to be confirmed]. Email support@exoplate.com. [VAT status to be confirmed].

Ordering

Prices are in pounds sterling. Delivery is added at checkout and shown before you pay. A contract between us begins when we email to confirm your order, not when you pay — if we can't make what you ordered, we'll tell you and refund you in full.

We may refuse or cancel an order where a price or description was clearly wrong, where a piece is no longer available, or where we suspect fraud. Nothing is printed until an order is paid for.

What you are buying

An archival giclée print on 100% cotton rag fine-art paper, in the size you chose and on the paper we print that piece on, made for your order. Prints are sold unframed and unmounted. Screens differ, and paper is not a screen: colour will vary a little from what you saw, and textured paper renders differently from smooth. That variation is part of the medium rather than a fault.

Buying a print buys the print. It does not transfer copyright or any right to reproduce, resell as a reproduction, or use the artwork commercially.

Cancelling, returning and refunds

You can cancel free before we print, ask us to cancel afterwards, and change your mind within 14 days of your order arriving. Cancellations and returns sets out how each works, and nothing there affects your legal rights.

Delivery

We deliver within the United Kingdom. Times are estimates, not promises; see delivery. Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave.

Accounts

You don't need an account to buy. If you make one, keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. We may close an account that is used to abuse the shop or other people.

Selling your work through us

Artists keep the copyright in their work. Submitting a piece grants us permission to print, show and sell it as prints, and to show it in our shop and marketing, for as long as it is listed. You confirm the work is yours, that you can license it to us, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. We review every submission and may decline one without giving a reason. Either of us can end the arrangement, and we will stop selling new prints of a withdrawn piece — orders already placed are still fulfilled.

Our liability

We don't limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise our liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it, and we aren't liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in its courts. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of your local law.
