Not open yet · The roster is small and invited

Easy peasy, art prints easy.

Selling your work through Exoplate is five steps, and we have written them out before the door is open so you know exactly what you are walking into. Right now the roster is small and invited. When it opens, this is how it will work.

  1. Make an account

The same account people use to buy prints. It takes a minute and costs nothing, and it is where your application will live.

  2. Ask to join as an artist

One button — here, or on your account. It tells us you are not here to shop, and opens the form.

  3. Tell us about your work

Who you are, where the work comes from, and a link or two so we can see it. No files to prepare at this stage — that comes once you are in.

  4. We read it properly

A person looks at every application — not a filter, not a queue that quietly expires. If it is not right yet we tell you why, and you are welcome to come back.

  5. Your work goes up

We handle printing, packing, shipping and customer care. Every print is sold under your name with your story beside it, and you keep 25% of every sale — 33% of anything bought through your own link.

What you earn

25%

of every sale we make

Someone finds your work through the shop and buys it. You are paid 25% of the price of the print, and we pay for the paper, the ink, the printing, the packaging, the postage and the card fee.

33%

when you bring them

Share your own link and anything of yours bought in the next 30 days pays you 33%. You already have the audience; this is what it is worth.

A percentage of the price of the print, not of the order — you are not earning on somebody’s postage, and you are not paying for it either. If a print is discounted the share is of what it actually sold for, and if it comes back the commission comes back with it.

No exclusivity, ever. Sell the same work anywhere else you like.

What we look for

Work that someone would want to live with, and files good enough to do it justice at A2. We are not looking for a following, a portfolio site or a particular style — we have turned down polished work that felt like everyone else's, and taken on first-time sellers who had something to say.

You keep the copyright in your work. Selling a print never transfers it, and you can ask us to take a piece down whenever you like.
